“For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1. Time. It is a gift that is often forgotten, yet always desired. Through song writing I have been reminded that God’s timing is perfect and have learned that now is the time to sing; now is the time to share the gifts God has given me. I am so grateful to God for giving me the gift of music. All good things come from Him and this album is my way of declaring God’s goodness and faithfulness to me. God has used many people in my life to get me to where I am today. My music journey first started with piano lessons. Mom and Dad, thank you for seeing the value in music before I could see it myself and for not giving in to my resistance (yes, you were right). To Mom in particular, you have always been my biggest fan and you always wanted me to sing, even when I didn’t want to. To my friend Jennifer Graybill, you were the inspiration I needed to keep writing and keep dreaming. You were so eager to hear my songs and you motivated me to believe that I could do this album, and that now was the time. To Sarah Chow, thanks for being vulnerable in sharing your songs with me and giving honest feedback and support for my songs. To my fantastic photographer Melon, thanks for fitting me into your crazy no-time-for-sleep schedule and for making the experience so fun. To my friends: Kristina, Christine, Amy, Lauren, and many others, thanks for your listening ears and consistent encouragement throughout the album-making process. To Pak Pras, the man behind the glass, thanks for your patience with my lack of recording experience and your big smile. And finally, to Sassha, you have been my pillar since I first stepped foot in the studio.
